Los Lufkins!

So Rachel and John have been discussing John's birthday this year, and John thought of a great idea for a birthday present. See Los Lufkins live in the Gas Lamp District of Downtown San Diego. And because of this, it is not the easiest location to park a car. So to help keep things simple they have left the car parked at a secure location some distance from the Loft.

Now John's bright idea was based on trying to limit the time needed to travel from the Loft to the car, since Rachel walks to work and John uses the car more often, and to avoid those early morning transportation problems, John thought a little scooter would be the perfect thing to help Los Lufkinst to jet around.

After some tough negotiations, and logical reasoning, Rachel thought that a scooter would be a great idea for John's birthday. John had shown Rachel the best location to find and purchase the exact scooter he wanted (ahhhh eBay.com) and for the best price. Now Rachel decided that she needed to play her cards close to the vest and not let John think that the scooter was coming, with hopes to surprise him for his birthday next month. Well as things worked out Rachel found a great deal on the scooter, but feared that John might just buy one on his own (Silly).

Well, with the distraction of not knowing if John might take things into his own hands, Rachel made the mistake of having the scooter sent to the Loft, instead of her original sneeky idea of having it sent to her office. All in all a grave error. So Rachel had to confess that she had infact bought the scooter and that it was on its way. Well John has been a little excited about the arrival of his birthday present, even if it is a little early. He has skillfully demonstrated to Rachel, the many different situations where a scooter would be greatly useful.

So what you are witnessing here is the arrival of the scooter and John's calculated assembly of the new appliance.
