our travels...
last week, van and i went to memphis to spend time with my sister and her family. van was so good - sleeping on pretty much both flights there and back.
we didn't do a lot of touristy stuff, but we did make time to go and see the ducks at the peabody hotel. they come down in the elevator and walk the red carpet into the fountain in the middle of the lobby. they swim there all day until the duckmaster (pictured) leads them back up the red carpet and through the elevator back up to the top of the hotel where they sleep in the "duck palace."
we also stopped by the Lorraine motel.
and that was pretty much it, other than visiting and trying giving van his first bottle (which he had no trouble chugging down...).
