it was about time

so van's had quite the mop of hair for a while. he ended up with somewhat curly hair like mine, that grows straight forward like johns. in addition, his hairline is pretty ridiculous. poor kid. for all of these reasons, we've just let his hair grow. we have given him a trim, but it is often pretty moppy.

so, this week, we cut it. here's hoping we figure out how to do it soon -- and that we don't miss seeing curls stick out from underneath his hat too much!
