yay for creme brulee

for my birthday, my mom gave me some ramekins and a culinary torch. can you say awesome? we found a great recipe and finally got around to making creme brulee yesterday. i was really excited about the torching part, which took place today. i made john take photos to commemorate the occassion. we are happy to report that it turned out pretty darn spectacular. thanks mom!

I love all the new posts - it looks like you guys are having a great time! And I'm pretty excited about your creme bruele stuff because next time I see you you'll just have to make some for me! Sounds yummy (I'm actually not sure if I've ever had it before, but it looks like something I would probably enjoy)!
