crazy weekend 'o fun
griff came over to hang out with john and me at the end of his spring break. since we both love anything Roald Dahl, i decided to plan out a weekend where we watch movies and eat food inspired by his books. friday was great. we made two drinks: frobscottle (from the bfg) and butterscotch (charlie and the chocolate factory) and one cake: bruce bogtrotter's cake (from matilda). gotta love the photo of griff with the frobscottle. so, like i said, friday night went superb. saturday was a different story.
I just have to say that i used to like anything Roald Dahl, but after tasting the frobscottle i have definitely changed my mind

That is a crazy weekend! I hope your hand gets better soon. And I thought you'd burn yourself with your kitchen torch...so many dangerous things in your kitchen!
PS...I want you to send me that picture of you racing with my girls!
