six months!
can you even believe our baby has been with us six months already? john and i have spent considerable time trying to figure out where the time has gone.six things about van:
1-he rolls from front-to-back and back-to-front and sits up on his own
2-he isn't crawling quite yet, but he still gets wherever in the room he wants to go (particularly anywhere my computer cord is)
3-his sixth tooth is breaking through
4-he is an avid eater, having tackled bananas, rice cereal and peaches already (although he doesn't like apple juice yet)
5-he loves to get outside each day and just look around
6-his hair is actually starting to grow (in the right light, you can kinda see it!)
I was truly surprised when I saw the title of this post - it is really crazy that Van is already 6 months old! And I am amazed that he almost has 6 teeth - my babies are lucky to be getting their first tooth at 6 months! He's a keeper in any case...maybe he wants to visit New Jersey for his half-birthday...I have a feeling he would really love the East coast.

Major congrats, Rachel. Six months is a big deal as a young mama and papa.
Speaking of which, yours truly (Poppa P) is now GrandPoppa P. Melea gave birth to baby Devyn, a 7lb 15oz baby girl, with blue eyes and brown hair. It's pretty cool (and weird) being a gramps, all at the same time.
