Los Lufkins!

we recently were able to go to seattle and visit john's parents. it was perfect, typical seattle weather, which was very welcome after the hot weeks recently in so. cal.





while there, i learned from the candy expert how to make a few of her specialties






















and van played with grandpa














and we ate some really good food (we had caveman twice!)














and van got new toys to play with (like this walker/jumper)


















and new places to crawl under (like this coffee table)

















and we went to port angeles to visit john's best friend and his family - and they played video games and we all watched football












and van got to show grandma what a swimmer he is...













and i learned to make even more candy!













as a sidenote: the week we were in seattle was when Van really got to crawling around (rather than the inch worm he had been doing) and pulling up on things. Once we were home, he figured out really fast how to stand up in his crib - i heard him after his nap and found him just like this (what a cutie!).
