Los Lufkins!

so, if you read this blog, you would have seen that a little while back they were spraying our apartment for bugs. well, that was just part of a 3 month long process we have been going through to try and rid our apartment of some bugs we have been dealing with recently. What kind of bugs you may ask?

WARNING this is the gross part.

1. fleas

2. ticks

3. BED BUGS!!!

so they pretty much sprayed our apartment over and over and over again, and we washed our stuff over and over and over again, and we cleaned the apartment over and over again, and we packed up our stuff over and over again, but the bugs kept returning OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

finally, we decided we had enough and decided to leave. so we moved. but part of the moving process was deciding that we did not want to bring ANY bugs with us. so, the only way to make sure you do not take them with you, is to NOT take stuff. the photo you see here is all of the furniture that we left when we left our apartment. sad, huh? because we lived in a loft, they were not contained to one room, so we pretty much left everything...couch, chair, cabinets, bookshelves, bed, dressers, end tables, etc. the good news is that since we moved, we haven’t even been bitten once. yay!

so that is what we have been up to...and i promise it wasn’t us, it was totally the building!
