Up and Down
It has been a really long time since I have been able to keep Van sitting in his high chair. He pretty much sits when he wants to eat, and then stands and climbs on the table and everything else. I've tried buckling him as tight as I can across his hips and yet he still manages to squiggle out. (As far as we can tell, the only solution is to buy a different high chair.) Lately, he's figured out how to climb up and down. I'll be working in the next room and I'll hear him calling for me - in his chair and banging on the tray for more food (this means I am feeding him ALL DAY).
Then, before I am ready for him to be done eating, he's running around the house with messy hands, bib still on, because he's gotten down.
These photos were taken the first day he learned. He's gotten so quick at it (including going back down backwards instead of forward like the photos) that there is no way I would be able to get multiple photos of him performing this manuever!

Sounds like Van is keeping you busy! I think it must be the age...Brycen is doing similar things. I get so tired out :) Hope you are doing well!

That is awesome. Way to capture it all with the camera! What a cutie. And now he's at that age where they get a new "ouchie" everyday. Abbi used to have so many bruises on her legs I was embarrassed to take her out! :)
