van must have had a growth spurt recently because in the last few days i've noticed how much longer he seems. in fact, he's just acting so much older in general. i guess it's really true that they are only little for a very short period of time. so many things he is doing seem more "little boy" like than "baby" like. well - maybe it's better said that the things he WANTS to do are little boy like, and he gets frustrated that he can't do them yet. like run up the steps at the playground with the other kids. he instead has to settle for throwing himself down the slide. he loves to read books with me, but he wants to climb up to the shelf and select the books himself. i can only imagine what he'll be like when he can actually do the things he wants to! oh, and he also LOVES to dance. if he hears the stereo on and the song has a decent beat, he takes off to stand right in front of it...
He is so cute! I can't believe how grown up he looks. The awesome blonde hair is becoming more visible in pictures. I love it!
