for my grandpa's 75th birthday, my entire extended family headed to a cabin up in utah for some fun. i took a minor detour to get some cafe rio with cathy and sara. it was so nice to see friends and eat classic provo food!

then we drove up to the heber cabin to spend the weekend. the cabin was large enough for all of us, and even though it rained, it was beautiful.

after we were all settled in, we took a number of photos in various configurations. i practically fainted from standing so long (not exaggerating), but i think we had the most fun during the 'gary atkinson kids' photo.
brianne checks out john's bicepts (they're kinda hard to see in this photo, but we think they exist...)
the highlight of the reunion/birthday party must have been the family talent show. it took a LOT of concentration for me, my sisters and aunt tina lu to put together a coreographed dance to the Go Go's "Vacation" (which tina lu taught us to sing to a number of years ago).
overall, it was a great time to get together with all of my family and catch up in a beautiful setting. i'm glad we were all able to do it!

These pictures turned out so good... better than some of the ones I posted. Very nice!

I think I have stayed at that exact cabin, or one that looked just like it
